The G.R.A.C.E. Fund helps hospital clients who cannot afford treatment or routine care for teir dogs.


What is the purpose of the G.R.A.C.E. fund?

The fund is designed to help clients of the UGA Veterinary Hospital who have demonstrated the need for financial help to cover the cost of any medical procedure for their dog. The fund is set up to help dogs who are ill, injured, or require routine care which their owners cannot afford. Assistance will be given each fiscal year as long as funds are available.

Where does the money for the fund come from?

Some of the proceeds from the annual G.R.A.C.E.'s Birthday Party are contributed to the fund. But the fund relies mainly on private gifts from dog lovers like you who understand how much dog owners care about their pets and how difficult it is to see animals suffer.

What is Grace's Birthday Party Birthday Party?


The party takes place every year on the spacious grounds of Ashford Manor Bed & Breakfast in Watkinsville, Georgia. As many as 300 dogs and their owners attend this entertaining event, which features games and refreshments for people and their pets. What kind of treatment will the fund pay for?


The G.R.A.C.E. fund will cover preventive care as well as treatment for diseases like cancer, hip dysplasia, eye and skin diseases, diabetes, arthritis, obesity, and a host of other ailments dogs can suffer from.

An acknowlegment of your gift will be sent promptly to the pet's owner if your gift is made in honor or in memory of the owner's pet.

Your attendance at the annual Graces's Birthday Party also will help the fund, in addition to other animal welfare services.
